Lots of luck with the new site.

I have a CG m/96-38, and there are quite a few other Swedish rifles here on this site, but as far as I know, there is not a single Danish one. I have a Schultz & Larsen barrel on one of my Swiss rifles - does that count as partly-Danish?

And I have B&O hi-fi in my house and one of my cars, too, as well as a houseful of Stressless furniture.

That MUST count for something, eh?

Thanks Tac, the problem now is finding time to get some posts up on it amongst all the other things we are working on.

A S&L barrel on anything is a good start and we will be adding Swedish and Norwegian rifles along the line however the primary will always be the Danish manufactured bolt action rifles.

We had a house on the Island of Mors just north of B&O and there is a good following of the product in DK, in fact I have a feeling our TV on the island was a B&O. Personally I prefer Meridian but that is a Brit thing..

Strayed off topic but what the hell ;)
I don't suppose the smoother harmonic wave produced by valves would sway you away from your B&O transistor HI-FI.
High output valve amplifiers tend to be expensive. Other than finding an old low output Quad or Leak, they are out or reach. Technical minded can assemble DIY kits offering higher wattage for less money than buying a brand!

Sikamick, were are trying to find the time to add to it however we are both very busy right now, hopefully we will find time at some point as we both have many things to add.

I have another Danish Krag bayonet on it's way and Christel is looking for a Danish Snider at the moment (To shoot of course) She is in the process of renewing her FAC and keeps pulling faces and they scurrying off to her computer to look things up. I have made a few suggestions which she is mostly ignoring

I am rather hoping she will add another 8x58RD slot and go for another Schultz & Larsen, ideally the RPLT42 if one ever comes along...

In my bayonet collection, I have a M47 bayonet. Made for the Madsen 1947 rifle. Sold to a lot of South American countries.Similar fittings to a Mauser bayonet. The thing that makes this bayonet unusual is this is the only bayonet ever made with a spot welded metal scabbard.

I have only ever seen one other example of this bayonet for sale in the UK. The one I own was sold to me by the captain of the local Army Cadet Unit. They were ordered to get rid of their "trophies". I was offered the Madsen M47, two K98 bayonets and some Bren mags, still in their factory wrappers.

Kind regards, Lester
